It reminds me of Guam and Hawaii. A short drive to the lake is a plus during the summer. Mature trees in lots where you actually get a front and back yard.
There was a tall gate put up around the entire park as well to keep all the kids that play there safe while on the park grounds which puts parents at ease when there loves ones are there.

The homes are zoned for Silverado HS. No dog park in area. If you have a yard dogs will be okay. Traffic is heavy at night. Plenty of family neighborhoods, parks, and recreation. The strip is a short distance away with the nightly fun, dining, and dancing, or catch a show. There are no Stray dogs running around loose. The downside is there is not alot of grass areas.

The lighting at night is terrible on the streets. Many people walk their dogs. Mostly small dog owners not picking the poo. Neighbors are friendly, the area is safe and quiet. The transit system here is better then most of the city due to the pollution in this area which is somewhat higher and more condensed.

Resident 2y ago. You are close to everything and you are very close to the strip. There's a lot of great places to eat and a lot of great places to visit. The vegetation is established and people maintain their properties. I guess we're just lucky to have good and nice neighbors. They are all willing to help if needed and lend you sugar or a pot when it's a crazy holiday and stores are crazy. I have lived here all my life and never have I gotten a bad vibe from this area. It makes public commute extremely easy.
Homes are kept well maintained. People have been living here for years without complains. You'd think me living so close to the police station things would be safe, NO. Once it's dark my kids are in the house and I am careful if I have to go anywhere. The traffic on my street is a nightmare any time there is something going on at the Convention Center.
