Ironically, we sat at the same table that we sat at during our previous 2 visits post their remodel. We started with the charcuterie plate shared by 3 and then each had a Caesar salad. Two of our group ordered pizza's one pepperoni and one sausage and I had the halibut.
We shared a bottle of Napa Cabernet. Our server and the supporting servers were on point and friendly. The food was served in timely intervals and was delivered well prepared and at the right temperature. The 2 who had pizza's found them to be very good and enjoyable. My fish was tender and warm with quinoa, kale and fennel a perfect accompaniment to the fresh fish. Another wonderful meal at Della which is rapidly joining our other hometown "go-to" spots in town. Bravo to the team Della.
My bride and our friend from the UK went to Della and I stayed home with the new puppy. And the interior design continues to surprise and impress. Owner Kathleen stops by the table to chat a bit. The front of the house manager, Miles, calls my bride by name and gives her a welcoming hug, and introduces himself to our friend. My bride blanked on the name of their server, only saying that she was wonderful and loved her hair braid. They said they were allowed to peek in the bakery to see if they wanted to bring some bread home All in all, on a scale of 1 to 10, it was an Jealousy is a terrible thing Lovely setting, seriously romantic.
Attentive service, friendly and welcoming. Interesting beer choices. Dinner menu is a little limited. The dinner service has a different feel. The hostess sat us we arrived early at p for our 6pm reservation, party if 2 celebrating our 12th yr Anniversary. The odd experience was she alerted us that the tables are reserved for p and she hopes we understand we would need to enjoy our meal by then.
The whole experience was just odd for the expectations of Della, and for the price point. Everything we tried was perfect. So were the servers. Our favorite in Petaluma.
Our server was kind and the wine was nice. The place is a bit eclectic. Overall, a fun date night. There were 5 in my party for dinner. In general, the food was good, but poorly proportioned and as a result—overpriced. My wife and I ordered the seared salmon which came with a good assessment of vegetables. Unfortunately the quantity of salmon was about the size of a small fish stick. The melon salad was good, as was the apple braid tart for dessert. I live in SR and just discovered this fabulous restaurant and bakery last Sunday for brunch and loved everything about it so much I went back during the week for dinner.
Both experiences were amazing. The decor and ambience are like nowhere else and the food is magnificent! The staff is well-trained and friendly. I couldn't ask for more. Food was excellent. Service was impeccable. Both of us were very satisfied with our meals. Festive and delicious. Food was fantastic. Love the eclectic ambiance. Been missing for a LONG time. Food was good service was excellent. Problem is they was a scanty menu.
Della Fattoria is one of our favorite restaurants! Love the food, the atmosphere and everything about it! My current favorite dish is fish of the day which was halibut Saturday night. The preparation is unusual and includes some pork belly. Always great to see Miles at the front of the house. It was both visually and palate- appealing. I had a sausage pizza. It was a little bigger than I planned on. Love the new sausage pizza! Sitting on the wood bench along the wall no cushions was not comfortable for a fit 62 yr old and fit 30 yr old.
Great atmosphere, great bread, not noisy, but if you know how to cook not exceptional. Their bakery a better choice. Look forward to returning when in area. Also, their bread comes from their own bakery that turns out many more wonderful tasty delights.
Love, Love, Love our Della! Thank you for another wonderful evening. Dave and Kathleen. There were 6 of us. No rushing. A very happy time was had by all.
