Pete also played flute with the Spanish Choir at St. Pete now plays alto sax with the Lamplighters and has played with the band for approximately 15 years. The combination of a tranquil, energetic and humorous demeanor drives his enjoyment for music, traveling, dancing and for his activities as a volunteer, advocate for those affected with mental illness. Her participation in the Lamplighters is a realization of a lifelong dream. Trish was born in Oregon and mostly raised in San Antonio as a military brat.

Vernon High School in Virginia her senior year and graduated from there. After graduation, she worked retail at the outlet mall in San Marcos for about seven years and discovered that what she really felt passionate about was music.

She played saxophone for the Comal Community Band for several years and really loved it. Alfred has recently joined the lamplighters. He plays for a number of bands throughout San Antonio. He does a tremendous job providing the low saxy sound to this section. He earned his degree in music education BME and has been teaching for the past 17 years. He commenced his teaching career in middle school and is now the head band director at Burbank High School.

His bands have won numerous awards including U. Sweepstakes Awards. He has played trumpet professionally for over twenty years. He was drafted into the Army in and placed into radio operator training because even mediocre musicians routinely scored very high on Morse code aptitude tests. Ray carried his trombone into combat in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, and after the fighting subsided, he joined one of the USO-like entertainment groups made up of musicians, singers, and stand-up comics.

Then his trombone went into the closet for a 35 year hiatus. Beaumont Army Hospital. He was then assigned to the USAF School of Aviation Medicine, San Antonio, where as an Air Force flight surgeon he taught and did research on physiological measurement methods for use on air crew members in flight. After so many years of doing such fun things, it was time to go to work for a living, so he specialized in Nuclear Medicine and found that to be even more fun!

After retirement 5 years ago, Ray finally was able to study music theory and take some private trombone lessons, learning immense respect for real musicians in the process. He began playing his trombone in 6th grade in the Pearsall school system and proceeded through High School as a member of the Maverick Band.
